Thanks for the advice guys! Just what I needed.
Just a note.. I wouldn't have financed anything, I just needed to pay like R40k extra to get the ecoboost when I sell my current one.
But yeah, your advice makes more sense, I will put away some money incase anything breaks on the current Fiesta, replaced the tyres a few months back as well.
I have not had a single issue with this car so I think I will keep it then and count my blessings :crylaugh:

Okay well if that is the case and you can genuinely get away with the 40k price (which I find very unlikely) then it starts to make a bit more sense.
A warranty is probably going to cost you in the region of 20k.
So to pay another 20k to get a service plan thrown in and a new warranty from the factory as well as a new car then I can say sure that's a reasonable consideration and the fuel savings might even have you breaking even over a 5 years.
The 40K would further be negated by the service costs for the current car in the next few years (assuming the new one has a service plan).
But as I said I find it unlikely you'll get away with just 40K to pay in.
