I've recently moved in to a new place and my current Huawei WS5200 router is no longer cutting it. The range was never great to begin with but it sufficed at my old place. Even my old Dlink ADSL router was better.
I believe the WS5200 can be meshed with a Huawei AX3 to improve range. Another option is replacing it entirely and getting something like a Cudy M1300 or M1800 which is Wifi 6. Any point in going Wifi 6? My line is only 50Mb with not more than 7 devices connected.
Ideally not wanting to spend more than R1500.
Any advice is appreciated.

Before I went mesh, I used cat 6 cables to connect my old routers (using them as access points) to get coverage. Last year I went mesh, stay away from Mercusys. Cheaper sister company or brand of TP link but just pure kak.

Yeah, would be great if I could find my old routers. Think I chucked out one thinking I'll never use it again.

You got lucky, or they charged you with the months fee.
Cause it's generally a free to use router not free to own
Not at all.
Remember we give you the router for free. It's not a "free to use" or rented router it's yours. Once delivered to you and you activate a fibre package with us you keep it even if you cancel later on.
