That's what i also think, due for me quite soon

But i keep thinking its due to a bent wheel or axle? Can that be?

Take the rims in for balancing. They will tell you if they're bent or not. Either that or your rims may just need to be balanced. Had that on my i20, took it for balancing, ten times better.

Unbalanced/bent wheels will produce shaking regardless of acceleration or braking.
Shudder under braking is most likely warped disks.
