Advice please: Headphones

Hi Guys

I am looking for a relatively good quality headphones to use to listen to music and watch series. Please can you advise on which are top in the market right now. My budget is max R500 so please bear that in mind.

Also, if you can please mention the shops i can buy it from.

for that budget best you will get is the Sennheiser HD202.
 
I just seen Dion Wired have all of these at around the same price:
PHILIPS SHC 2000
SONY MDR-ZX300LQ
SONY MDR-ZX300BLK
SENNHEISER HD 201 G2
SENNHEISER HD202 II
Do you still advise on going for the HD202?
 
@Joe505, which one did you go for? I'm also in the market for some new headphones. So between the HD201 G2 & HD 202 II which would you guys recommend?

Agreed. In that price bracket you honestly can't go wrong with the HD202's. I own 2 pairs of these and the first one I bought is easily between 6 and 7 years old by now. Still working great although due to age the padding is rather worn out so the cushioning isn't that great anymore so I might have to replace them soon.

Let me know where you get the padding from. Mine are in need of replacement as well.
