advise on ISP please

I am in urgent need of a very reliable ISP for an uncaped 1024KB or higher connection.
My Isp who never gave me a single problem over the years has sold to a bigger consortium, due to past experience I do not wish to join them. I do need P2P, being a foreigner the stuff I download is not available in SA & will never be , this would create major withdrawal symptoms LOL. Any feedback is appreciated

a connection I can rely on as I link to many universities worldwide and a reasonable speed, P2P, price not too relevant, as I said I was very happy before, not many problems, just the odd ones that cannot be avoided even by the best of them.
will look at the 2 mentioned as they seem the best after reading all the posts.
