aerosat a bunch of crooks

I signed up with them on 22 October 2008. I thereafter had the opportunity to view another Aerosat installstion and it was then that I realized that the connection speed was not as fast as they had advertised. Also many other claims made by them had proved to be false.

I thereafter faxed to them a letter of cancellation as per their request. Thereafter each time I phoned them I was put on hold for long periods of time only to be told that someone will phone me back. Finally on 5 December 2008 I was fed up and demanded an answer as to when my money would be refunded. It was then that I was told (after being put on hold and being cut off many times again) that my name was not on their system and was again promised that someone would phone me back by 5pm the latest that day. I am still waiting and have now decide to take further action as I have proof of my payment and they refuse to help

they make me sick ..

I'm not trying to be a pest, but really you'd increase the chances of getting help way more if you'd typed that in English -- I know I for one won't bother translating that for myself.

Why translate? Just read it... And if you had Afrikaans at school and STILL don't understand it, I'd be pretty concerned.

Remember, English is a foreign language...

STAY AWAY!!!!

Aerosat service used to be excellent when i joined in early 2007, but by mid 2008 the service had deteriorated unexceptably. It has deteriorated so much that by end of November i sent them a cancellation letter with more then a months notice (as prescibed) for them to cancel service on the 31st of December. I even got a call asking for the reason for my cancellation. They then continued to debit my account in January. When phoning them i got hold of a woman called Andrea who rudely told me that even though i canceled in November they will only discontinue service in Feb and i will not be refunded for January.

In what crazy universe would sending notice on the 28th of Nov to cancel on the 31st of Dec not constitute a months notice!?

So be warned, STAY AWAY, these people are crooks, useless service and shadey business ethics....

i just actually feel sorry for the technicians, i know some and i can see customers take their toll on the techies... lol

Shame, anyways, yup, i read up about aerosat before i got internet and stumbled upon the hellopeter.com complaints... so i gave it a miss.
