Alliance for Germany (AfD) has been declared a "proven right-wing extremist endeavour" and "not compatible" with a free democracy by Germany's domestic intelligence agency, unlocking new surveillance powers to keep tabs on the party.

AfD mostly won in East Germany. It's the disgruntled Stasi collaboration lot. East Germany was highly brainwashed by the Russians during their post war occupation. They're resentful they're not at the level of West Germany yet.

No Communist population was as monitored as East Germany’s. There was a Stasi officer for every 180 people; by some calculations one in three East Germans were acting at some stage or another as an informant for the security service. Many were blackmailed into reporting on neighbors and friends, church leaders and their children’s teachers, and others were doing so out of genuine loyalty to Communism.


Some informants were dissidents themselves, including novelist Christa Wolf, who for two years in the 1960s spied for the Stasi on her fellow writers.


East Germany’s Communist leaders “felt they needed more people employed on state security than did Heinrich Himmler to protect Hitler’s Third Reich,” noted British academics David Childs and Richard Popplewell in their book, "The Stasi: The East German Intelligence and Security Service."


“It has been estimated that proportionate to population, the density of the informer network was seven times that of Hitler’s Germany,” they added.

Germans are logically sensitive to fascists. You'll also notice that Tesla sales crashed there by the highest percentage in Europe, following on from the "woke liberals" deciding that Econ's "totally non Nazi" gesture resembled a Nazi salute quite a lot in reality land, and he also expressed support for the AfD "totally non fascist" morons.

All true. BUT if there's anything Europe could use right now its a fascist or someone slightly fascist to take action before they become an IS hub.

I've got no problem with a clamp down on immigration. Fascism itself rarely ends well for anyone.

Yeah but its clear the current Govt's have no plans on immigration clamp downs? Or at least i'm not seeing it unless i've missed it. They seem to just be swinging open doors and the biggest culprit is the UK who by 2030 are going to be like Yemen (and ironically Yemen will probably be better...)

Some German officials also put on an act. You see fascism is bad, but Germany first policies and pushing Europe in a direction which benefits German industry at the expense of agriculture (and other industries) elsewhere in the common market area, is OK. ;)

Real nat-socialism is gone however except for small groups. It went away because Prussian militarism of the Junker class was crushed with the end of WW2.

Well it often seems that if Conservatives had to choose between world peace and banning trannies, they auto opt for the trannie path.

To them trannies and immigrants are much worse than wars etc.
 
I don't think it matters. Most Germans are too stupid to vote correctly. It is way too easy to guilt trip German boomers with the Nazi's. Germany cannot be fixed for another 20 years and by then it will be too late.
