I know it is a health insurance, but would it be tax deductible?

It's about R1700 for my family vs R4500 on almost any other medical aid.

Hi all.

Just got a call from these guys, and I must say, what was explained over the phone sounded very promising.
Asked for everything in writing, I told the guy if I need to phone him with a question I am not taking it, that is how much info I want.

Anyone have any dealings with them ?

It definitely sounds too good to be true.
They quote me for me, my wife and my child R1700.00.

Opposed to any of the more well known ones which are like R4500.00.

I am busy checking up on Hello Peter and phoning hospitals to try and get more info.

Phoned a few of their listed doctors and dentists now, half of them have never even heard of them.

I've crunched the numbers and checked out every medical aid in SA to get the best deal I can in my price bracket as I'm currently on Discoveries Classic Priority plan. Unfortunately for the range of benefits vs cost with Discovery no other medical aid provider comes close. They are slightly more expensive than other medical aids but I've come to the conclusion that it's a necessary evil and a few hundred bucks extra every month just has to be spent.
