Afrihost 4meg uncapped and News Server

Have no issues with my account, but have noted when trying to download from their news server, either it works flaky or does not work at all....when I try my free uncapped account with them, the download flies....any ideas?
 
What are the news server settings that you use for the uncapped?
I have a 1024 uncapped account with them, and have never been successful in downloading anything with it.
The primary telkom 1024 line is limited to 20Gig pm, and prefer to not use them to download anything with.
 
It's IS's news server.
I have never managed to use it either. I use astraweb. Much better.
 
Recently I havent been able to connect to the IS news server, but I have been using Astraweb for the last few years... and with the Afrihost account, I don't even notice the IS server isn't connecting... Just full speed ahead any time I have downloaded anything :D

We don't run a news server, we simply point to IS's news server. I'm not sure if they're having issues with it, I will have to make enquiries.
