Hi All,

I had loadshedding last night between 00:00 - 02:00. Unfortunately when the power got restored, my Earth leakage tripped, resulting in no power for the whole night. Only realized this morning when I woke up. Router/ONT mini-UPS drained etc...

This was my first Router/ONT reboot since having fibre & afrihost.

Now, all of a sudden I keep on geting afrihost popups telling me to activate my fibre.

I do have internet, but these popups will occur every couple of minutes (and I'm WFH today)

What should be done to get rid of it? My router is on Wireless Router mode (and not on Bridge mode, etc).

This worked fine before the power outage

Thanks

Ok, changed my Router from Wireless Router mode to AP mode. It seems to be fine now..but I'm pretty sure I've always been running my router on Wireless Router mode, so not sure if it's the reason everything is working again

A fix has been implemented to remove redirects.

Clients should no longer get activation page redirects.

Apologies for the issues experienced.

No loadshedding guilty here but we did have a power outage 2 days ago. The weird thing is, it was fine yesterday and all day today and then suddenly around 15:00 I started getting activation popups every 10 min. Its frikken annoying!

@DapperDanMan surely that can be as I'm on a 250/250 link. I also had to reactivate 5 times this afternoon without changing anything.

@AfriNatic @Afrigirl I had an activation pop up in the evening and now I have lost my public IP.. Getting a 100.*. IP instead of a 165.* that I had and now everything is inaccessible. I will PM my details..
