Afrihost ADSL compliments.

Decided to drop kick and PK iBurst for lack of decent service for over a year and decided to go with an Afrihost-managed ADSL line (10Mb line, 50Gb capped account).

Started the whole process on the 18th December, did the online ADSL line application for a 10Mb line (on Afrihost's site) on the 19th December, and recieved a confirmation SMS at 14:56 today to say the line order has been done.
Checked on Afrihost's Clientzone and it has been done. Just waiting for delivery of the ADSL modem, then I can finally enjoy decent internet speeds.

Huge thanks to Afriman, Afrihost and the friendly Telkom techs who I have seen and chatted to in the last 2 weeks and all others involved who made this quick transition from a crappy ISP to a decent one.
 
Glad to hear their service is still top notch. Never really had any issues with their customer service, always been very good.

Good, no - best choice of ISP. Maybe your best decision for 2012 ? Enjoy super service during 2013.
 
For Unotelly you really need a Netflix account. Can you get a monthly "debit" off a South African credit card with a phony USA address?
 
Router just got delivered by Dawn Wing Couriers, let the fun begin with a decent ISP that actually gives a damn about customers and knows what customer service is.

Will update later after I get the 2 PC's hooked up.
 
yeah waiting for the update :) have you actually got 10MB at home connection speed that is. send us a screenshot of the speedtest.net. would be good to see

Axxess/Afrihost are giving great service after a very bad November + 1/2 December, getting full account speeds during business hours!
 
Im already loving netflix and hulu plus and unotelly is really your friend :D

Wish we could get some x-hd sometimes though but medium HD aint to bad and very very few times high hd :D
