Afrihost APN issue

Recently got a new phone which needed a sim swap on upgrade, after using Afrihost mobile data for a year, and am unable to connect with new phone.

Have tried various avenues to try fix the issue through Afrihost with no luck.

Anyone have a similar problem that could shed some light?
 
You will have to contact them to get the new SIM provisioned. I have been waiting since last Tuesday for this to happen.
 
Eventually did in contact with someone who seemed to know what was going on and they said the same thing. Was also around Tuesday.

Figured there must have been another issue seeing it was taking so long :-/

bokka1 is correct, if a sim swop or package change occurs on your contract sim card, we'll need to re-provision our package from our side. This shouldn't take longer than 30 minutes to complete.

If you aren't able to connect at the moment, can you please send me a PM with your Contract Number so that I can quickly complete the re-provisioning for you.

Just bug Afrihost a few times a day and it will eventually work.

I think that ticket ref# may have too many digits there :)
I'll send you a PM now, it'll appear in your inbox - should appear top left-ish called Notifications.
