Afrihost/Axxess deleted my domain

So long story short, about a year ago I transferred all my domains to Axxess due to the reseller control panel that they have.
We dont host that many domains but out of the 14 domains that we manage 1 seems to be a issue for both ISP's to transfer.

It is a .net.za domain.

On Axxess I have been paying them for well over a year now and Afrihost just decided to delete the domain last Sunday

After many hours on the phone and mails ect I got Afrihost to re-activate/register the domain but not even 10 mins after they confirmed that it has been done the deleted my support ticket

I have sent @AfriMan a PM with the ticket number that I have

Afrihost/Axxess why is it so dificult to work with a domain that doesnt have a co.za

You should have received warning emails from the central registry long before your domain was released? Domains are not typically just 'deleted'.

I should have but I never did. I would have made a plan if that was the case.
The issue now is they delete support tickets and calling them gets you into a queue for 30min plus just to be cut off

Some companies have blanket support policies that abusive communications are closed immediately. In case you aren't doing so, take care to be cordial with support staff.

That I understand. I was not abusive in any matter because I have learned that it doesn't help you at all, it actually makes life more difficult for you

Well, best of luck then. Hopefully you come right.

If you want vastly better service with your hosting then consider a company that specialises in doing nothing but hosting. Absolute Hosting, Exclusive Web Hosting and Domains are all excellent, and provide exceptional customer support. You can be absolutely sure that domains won't go 'missing' with them.

I am busy looking at Absolute Hosting. Right now I need to resolve this mess then we can move forward

The issue here is that Axxess registers domains and assigns themselves as the registrant, hence you did not receive any notification of deletion from the registry.

If the domain hasnt been deleted or entered into closed redemption then you could try get them to renew and we could transfer the domain.

I am busy looking at Absolute Hosting. Right now I need to resolve this mess then we can move forward
Shout if you need a hand with transferring.

Replied to your PM. It doesn't look like your ticket was deleted - it was most likely moved to an escalations queue which is not visible in ClientZone.

It also seems like everything was resolved.

Generally, if we moved your domain to another ISP, then they would manage the deletion notices on their side. It seems like this domain was requested for transfer several times when you cancelled your package with us, but the transfer was decline. If the domain is on EPP or legacy, I think it can only be declined if the registrant doesn't accept the transfer, but happy to investigate further into this.

It looks like the domain then stayed with us, but the actual product was cancelled, hence it was scheduled for deletion.

I see on the ticket though that we have re-instated it and repointed DNS for you. All seems to be working now :)
