I usually have no issues with afrihost but this month I received an extra gig and was charged for it even though I should only receive 1 Gig(1GB package). I let afrihost know about this glitch and they removed the 1GB from my account but it's been nearly a week and the R29 billed to my bank my account has still not been refunded, What's the hold up!?

This issue just keeps getting better...

I received a response from an afrihost guy I was in contact with and he acknowledged that they billed twice and I should receive a credit balance so I thought great!, issue soon to be resolved....
Today another department (I guess billing) says there is no issue, so I looked up the invoices again to find the one invoice missing from my history, only logical explanation is that it's to be turned into a credit invoice because removing the invoice won't refund the money withdrawn from my bank account.

I don't have anything against afrihost, I won't switch until something better comes along but If Afrihost has issues I want them to fix it since I'm paying them.

Oh Schucks, another useless thread, sort it out with them, we can't do anything for you. :erm::whistle:

Useless? so what do you make of Afrihost deleting the invoice I reported? I was lucky enough to still have a copy of the invoice number it's a shame I don't have a copy of it. Moshe sees no problem with their billing but of course he wont, the invoice I was incorrectly billed for was deleted.

If I was a fanboy I would seriously rethink my position and monitor my billing more carefully.

Okay Moshe sorted me out and gave me free bandwidth instead of a refund, I'm ok with that. Shame that I had to use a forum to get some sort of resolution though.

Moshe takes an active intrest in issues and when I had a problem a few months back as soon as I had contact with him, he sorted things out. The moral of the story - get in touch with Moshe if normal channels have NOT worked
