Its COB and non of my staff could get work done today...
Afrihost is starting to cripple small Businesses that relies on stable internet access.
We have files downloading at 11KBps on a 20Mbps Business account. We didn't even bother with FTP access to our web servers today as internet is non existent.
Its up to 35KBps at least now, probably because everyone is done working for the day...except us
LOL, that is insane for a 20Mbps line, use a pigeon dude, would be faster.....
Haha at this rate it would be quicker to swim to America, pop in a flash drive and get the files and then swim back...
Woo hoo. 35kbps. About as useful for business as a memory stick and a courier company.

Have you tried a download manager? Also - could you link the download you're grabbing? I can try and replicate the speeds on my end.

I'll have our team check this out, really sorry about that.
Still getting crappy ingame latency, hasn't improved really since last week. This is repeatable in both GTA and Minecraft.

I'm testing a few downloads and most seem to be slow, although usenet traffic seems OK
Very odd, I'm passing the details onto our team for a look into.

I am feeling a bit let down by Afrihost, having my ADSL with them I hoped I wont have to deal with Telkom. Last week my Line started acting up, I logged a support request with Afrihost, and to date, natta happened. At times the line were better but tonight the SNR is dropping again. I reported all this on my Afrihost support request. I now logged a fault on Telkom site, I can see there automated software fiddled with the line to no avail, still crappy.

Dunno how to get this graph to a Telkom technician? Any Telkom technicians out there that can help? At this stage I am willing to pay a Telkom technician to come and fix my line. Any offers?
