Afrihost Cap issue

Hi there,

Has anyone who has signed up for the R29/gig account with Afrhost experienced this : - my account has been capped at 240mb even though I paid for the 1gig. I have received a notification mail saying so. Is there perhaps some pro rata condition in the fine print that I missed ?

Anyway - I mailed the support people. I suppose this is good test to see how quick their response to support mails are :D
 
is your total package just 1 gig ?, if so then you were assigned a pro rata bit of the total which probably was just 240mb and now is finished. check on your invoice the total that was given...
 
Lol - Foolish me. Thanks for the reply Necuno. My invoice ( which I HADN"T READ :D ) wsa for R7.73 and hence pro rata. Entirely a misunderstanding form my side.
 
You bought the 1 gig pro rata, you also raid pro rata. So I wouldn't be surprised thats what you started with. I bought a 10 Gig and got 2.667 Gig.
 
Have you checked your control panel to see how much bandwidth you had?
 
Pro rata. I signed up for the 10 gig package but was given 2.4 gigs and payed like 70 rand I think
 
I can't believe how many people just sign up for something without doing a little research and reading about it!

There are all these questions popping up about Afrihost but most of it has been covered extensively already.... Read their FAQ etc (and your invoice)! In the excitement people seem to have forgotten how to read.

lol, another baseless thread citing trouble with afri...

we're so jaded in this country we just think everything is going to b 2 good 2 b tru :D
