I wasn't rude... But I gave it to him solid. I don't like being screwed over.

I don't see an email from Gian?

Just gave me a good laugh. Often with things like that you just assume it came from some spambot email addy so when you reply you just vent as you know the email goes to nothing. I just went with that's what you did but then Gian actually read them.

My friend did the same thing, he got steam guarded for like 2 months because of a glitch in steam so he sent a strongly worded email to "[email protected]" (Gabe Newel created valve) expecting it to bounce back but to his surprise it got delivered without any issues XD. Thanks for the entertainment techead.

I know sometimes the email can take a while to get to you. The last one asking us to rate AH+ I only got a day after reading about it in a mybb article. So just give it some time.

P.S Sorry to go off topic here. I'll stop now.

I think we have all forgotten at some point that there is sometimes a man behind the machine. :)

Gian may not be able reply to each and every mail he gets, but he definitely does read every mail at least once, and takes the issues our clients raise very very seriously.

Yaya... he should have done this as soon as the IPC issues were finally admitted to... and then kept up the communication during these "software" glitches.

Complete and total silence and then a marketing email were just kinda like a slap in the face... especially since we were constantly reminded about him having his finger on our pulses and knowing us better than ourselves.

Damage has been done and hopefully lessons really learned.

Cape Town <--> Johannesburg appears to have been sorted :)

That second hop is still a worry though.

All in all the network is running well up to my expectations from my own selfish point of view.

Something has changed. For the first time since (I cant remember)my teamviewer is running at max quality automatically.

multithreaded downloads from EU server for 60 sec test period on 20mb line

edit : seems to be a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel

AH must have done something right, because this thread has died down. Tested another bunch of 720 youtube vids as well as netflix, and all is good.

Snappier but still erratic

Ping varing from 9ms to 21ms and line speed does not MAX out flat line but is very "spikey".

Should AH+ be introduce AH will become bankrupt with the double back money guarantee.

Last Result:
Download Speed: 662 kbps (82.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 300 kbps (37.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 547 ms

Even though I just moved on. I still think the AH+ is a cool idea. If it is at the right price I don't mind paying for it. My only issue was the bad network issues and then being told there are non. Torrents still terrible for me. And Netflix was ok. Little buffering.

Only in the first 60 days.

+1

I voted yes, as I think the free double data promotion is the root of the problem - they don't have enough capacity.

Let all the people who don't like it move to Axxess.

They almost doubled their capacity after moving to MTN (from 4,5 Gbps to 7,5 Gbps) according to the email that was sent.
