Wonder why these slow speeds always happen after the 25th of a month? They know we can't cancel now as we missed the deadline for this month. Still getting horrible speeds when trying to watch something on Youtube. Was running fine until Saturday! Now streaming is up to **** again!

Mine is just fine? 10mb line(8.8mb) downloads fine though at peak times they download at 50-80%..packet loss seems bit better than before to! Im in the south region where we had 50% packet loss at one stage..
 
Yeah, my internet was horrendous last night, 10mb capped acc. Streaming especially bad.

Local speedtest seemed fine, but international was terrible, anything from 0.5mb to 2mb down, and 0.3mb up.

I had to swap to my backup WA account just to stream...which was amazing by the way.
 
Clientzone is still down..
It is end of the month, how are we supposed to know what we still have to burn through?
Or is that the reason why? :erm:

I think that is more localized to you. Can you post a tracert? It is nearly the 1st of April, so Telkom are working on the exchanges.

Really sorry about the downtime on ClientZone, I know it couldn't have come at a worse time :(
 
My first month with them and already problems :/
Please get the Clientzone up soon Afrihost!

I know ClientZone being down was far from ideal, it couldn't have happened at a worse time :(
It should have been back by Saturday morning, shout if you're still having any hassles with this though!

International speedtests will be a little slower, depending on the destination, but it shouldn't be as bad as you've described.
Drop me a PM if you're still seeing issues with this today.
 
Was it just Netflix that was acting up or other streaming services too?

Only really use netflix at the moment. But I am picking up more and more that netflix is giving issues. Was considering upgrading line to 10mbit, but doubt that it would help since I used to be able to stream fine on 2mbit at one stage

Would you be able to see if the issues are replicated on YouTube/ Vimeo too?
