Ok AfriMan I really need you to sort out my account. I've just tested with the Telkom guest account and I'm getting good speeds with that. Guess which one is the Afrihost account...
I've been patient with these speeds for the last 3 days. Time to sort it out...

Ok here goes: 20mbit ADSL
First three tests from a backup accout:
Three tests from my Afrihost capped account:
It's not horrible, but not great either. Also, some sites fly, others really struggle.
I'm getting >0.5Mbps on a 20Mb line? This is totally unacceptable.

And the service degradation begins.
38Mbps down to 35Mbps.

Dropping like a Bomb...
Almost a 50% reduction at the start of the work day!

7.5Mbps...
Can I point out at this point that this is a 81% reduction in an Hour...
I call this Contention a reason to communicate directly to your clients.

Ok, 3.3Mbps, Must be the Yosemite.
Hey AfriMan, Did AH request permission to Cache Yosemite or is that against Apple/AH policy?
Thats definitely poor, sorry to see your speeds are so slow. Which region are you in?
Exactly the same trend on my side. Down from 39mb/s to 3.6mb/s. Awesome!
Still have no clue when it will be resolved, but who are we anyway? Eh, just the paying customers.. So nobody important in the eyes of Afrihost.
Dammit
The amount of complaints coming through for this product is shocking.
The more I read the more I'm being turned off switching to AH capped.
Has anyone been refunded accordingly?
To me, it's basic business to refund when your customer is paying full price for something that is not being delivered as advertised.
