Afrihost CAPPED ADSL Feedback (MTN)

Bad ping spikes for me on Sunday night. Was playing Heroes of the Storm. Had the same issue with my FNB Connect account. Once I changed over to my friend's WA account it was fine though. I haven't played since.

Can I ask that the next time you experience an increase in the latency, can you please run a traceroute to the Guild Wars 2 Server and post it here.

I'll need to see where the latency is starting to be able to figure out what is causing it.

Can I ask that you test your connection to Battle.net and Heroes of the Storm tonight and let me know immediately if you notice any issues with latency.
 
And Torrents are again crawling. 24kb/s... and now down to 10 as Im typing this.

What sort of speeds are you getting on speedtest.net?

How is your connections real-time performance at the moment?

Websites seem to be okish, but i sent a PM to Afriguy on the 20th regarding packet loss issues I have been having in the evening. Was consistently happening every evening. Have not heard anything from him since.

AfriMan has been hit with a bad case of the flu, I'll check with him to find out if he has any updates for you.
 
Having oodles of problems with Afrihost account that doesn't even want to connect - any else suffering?

There doesn't appear to be any increase the volume of authentication requests on our radius servers, could perhaps send me a PM with your ADSL username sot hat I can check what is up with it.

If anyone can please clarified or information if there is a problem at the moment in Cape Town, these are my current download speeds and latency:

International: http://speedtest.ookla.com/result/2828682757.png

As you can see my download is not as it used to be the normal 1.76mb/s and as well not my latency. In the games I play, World of Warcraft get over 1000 latency. And it takes like 15min or more just download 20mb file. Is there a problem with my line or my area, who can I contact to resolve this problem?

That's definitely not normal, your latency should not be higher than 20ms. Would you be able to run a traceroute to Afrihost.com and Google.com then post it here.

Huh... Those look okay. How are your speeds at the moment?
