After tests with a VPN I'm 150% certain shaping is taking place. Knew that already but the VPN just confirmed it.

In my mind that is the only logical explanation. Its not supposed to be shaped but I think their system is shaping by mistake, human or software.

I'm still here.

The fact that you are getting the correct speed in your VPN is definitely something very strange. I've asked our Team to look into this, and they are trying to see if anything if going on in the background that we are not aware of. I'll try keep abreast of any news that they have for me.

So trying to Youtube, it buffers on my 10Mbps line. The first screenshot shows how it buffers every 40 seconds, the 2nd screenshot show where it just bombed out while buffering!

We're in the process of making sure GTA V works more consistently and reliably. If possible, over the course of tonight, would you mind testing to see if there is any change for you.

I'm playing that exact video on 720p on my 4Mbps without issue at the moment without buffering...

How are your download speeds at the moment?

Okay... Throughput is not an issue...

Would you mind quickly testing with Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) and seeing if that makes any difference.

Because of previous issues, I am currently using Google's DNS.

I'm having a strange issue...

720P 60FPS video streams at 700kbps
Standard 480P video streams at 4600kbps

Watching the bandwidth increase 6 fold as I lower the resolution is infuriating actually
