Hey guys

Am on a 20GB capped account,so i was left with approximately 8GB from the previous month january obviously so now when i check my data through Afri Client Zone it looks like the remaining data didn't roll over. So i was wondering if i missed something or maybe i just thought wrong and the data doesn't roll over to the next month.

Makes sense to me... Just like your bread or your milk. It "goes off" after a certain date and you have to chuck it... Wait what...

Hi :)

I'm afraid our monthly data packages doesn't see the data roll over.
Your topups however do roll over, so if you topped up on 31 Jan, that data link will only expire at the end of Feb :)

Is this a technical or commercial issue?

I don't really see this as being an issue, but rather just how our data links have been setup.
We may look at implementing roll-over data, but I don't think it's something that's on the cards for the immediate future.

We truly do believe though, you can nail down a good package that suits your needs. It's pretty easy to upgrade/ downgrade if you're using too much or too little.

Read: As soon as one of our competitors does - then we'll be sure to follow suit. But not wanting to sacrifice margins in favor of fairness... we shan't be first.

Gotcha ;)

That's not the intention at all. We're well aware that some of our competitors already offer it, and there's definitely a demand from our clients. Unfortunately it's not something we can just implement as it's quite a big change in terms of backend processes.

We're always improving though, there has been an avalanche of cool stuff being done. If we do decide to do this, we'll let everyone know :)

Still...it would be awesome if that data rolled over. I'd suggest you guys seriously look into that. I'll almost guarantee (but, of course I can't really!) that you'd get an influx of new customers. Something so simple, could get you a bunch of new people...and stop others from leaving ;)

No doubt it's a great value add, I'm sure our team have already had a few sessions around this.
When we have more news about this we'll be sure to let everyone know though.

Awesomesausome!
Hopefully sooner, rather than later :)
