My second network disconnect in 2 days - I will for obvious reasons not make mention of the extreme shaping on my "shaped" capped account, seeing that this was logged many times already.
When I logged into my AH account to confirm the network disconnect, I also happen to notice the following anomaly (unless it is for transparency purposes reflected in this manner to confuse clients .... possibly similar to the shaping policy that we have heard of, but until now have not had the privilege of viewing it to ascertain at what levels of data useage or AH system distress levels it kicks in and by how much).
Based on my screen shot on post #2134 (2nd June 2017) one can see that approximately 56 GB's were rolled over to my June 2017 allowable data.
The data used from my session logs revealed I used 73.5 GB from around 4pm on 31 May to 12:31pm on 08 June.
My data stats reflects that I have used 64 GB thus far with an daily average of 1.66 GB (I thus presume that from 16:00 until midnight on 31 May, I consumed 9.5 GB)
The kicker here is that Free-Time data consumed equals an amount of 96.37 GB.
Question:
1 Is the reflected data consumed incorrect.
2 If the reflected data consumed is correct, how should I interpret the data (at the moment I read it
as data consumed thus far for the month of June).
3 Is Free-Time not reflected at all in the Session Logs as well as in the Data Statistics log and if not,
why.
4 Apart from the high level of shaping currently applied to "shaped" capped accounts, why are we
experience an increase of network disconnects.

Is anybody willing to stick their necks out regarding the Afrihost network lately? Especially in the South and later afternoon/evening? Thinking of switching back, but need to know if the latency issues we had a few months ago has been sorted?
Looking at this test I've noticed a couple of things. Firstly, you were streaming on a very high resolution for a source that's live. This might be what's causing the majority of your problems. Looking at the transfer rates in your screenshot, I can see that something in your network happened during the latter part of your session which caused your bandwidth to get stretched. Perhaps a friend or family member in your home started using another service which affected your connection to the live stream. Lastly, I can see on your data logs that you have been running on the same session for over 5 days. A router reboot every couple of days is always good practice.![]()
Never had problems with streaming 1080p60fps live before.
Nobody else streams anything in my house besides me.
I guess I need to reboot everyday in hopes your **** network performs one day???
You shouldn't have to restart your modem every day for your connection to consistently run well.
Is it possible that were some updates or programs running in the background that could have pulled bandwidth?
No, it's not possible.
Like I said it's your network that's ****.
I don't think that's the case.If it were we'd be seeing more complaints.
Are you seeing any latency on your connection?

Very irratic..
20meg line running at 4-5megs at the moment
So the months prior those where all *special cases* then?
I just got out of a CS game where my ping would get up to 300 to a SA server.
I've been with AH a long time now, the fact that you've had issues then covered them up only to be forced to admit them shows the company you represent.
Not even months of tests but years only to be told I should reboot my router more often, LOL.
I can't complain about anything really. On shaped capped account....all realtime services and streaming works flawlessly...just torrent speeds that drop off during "peak" evening times... Other than that, its all good!
During the day it seems Okie... Night I struggle to browse... Struggle to keep a remote desktop connection open.Definitely seeing some occasional spikes at your exchange here. How are things performing this morning?
