That's not the point. The point was the 100ms higher to Blizzard EU. It's fixed now though.

Morning guys,

Just a quick update on connectivity in the South. Our Network Team is still working on restoring a network issue in the South affecting certain DSL, Mobile & Fibre clients. The issue has been escalated to the switch vendor, but network communication between JHB and Cape town is basically non existent. This means that new subscribers as well as usage quotas may also be affected. We're working hard to restore service as quickly as possible. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Just an observation : My line used to sync at just over 45000 Kbps down and 3072 up. About a month ago down dropped to mid 30s , up staying the same. This morning the line dropped, came back up with the following :
B0 Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps) 10240
B0 Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps) 28670

Very annoyed with the drop in download speed, but a speedtest confirmed the figures.... 26.7/9.8

Btw, Attainable Rate (Kbps) 37768 14135 ---> This used to be 70000+ and 8000+

Any comments ?

Axxess have put out a Network Notice 30 minutes ago. Durban affected. Surprised Afrihost haven't said anything yet
