So, I'm not one to vent my frustration on a forum, I'm just here to warn others. Stay as far away from clearaccess as you can.
From the day of installation, where the installer spent 4 hours tracing the cable, I should have known what things would be like.
Ever single month since Nov 2022, aside from maybe 2, I've had connection problems. Each outage is around 12 hours long.
Afrihost points the finger at clearaccess, rinse and repeat.
Clearaccess and afrihost, both don't seem to bother about fixing the underlying issues.
Afrihost WhatsApp support has gone from best, to what's most probably the worst. (Someone helping me asked me to type my router IP address into Google to log in to my router).
I'm just glad my 6 months claw back period is over, so I can start shopping for alternatives.
Beware of going directly with clearaccess, they have a 12 month claw back.

Are you still experiencing an issue?

Recently there has been an issue where rogue dhcp servers start issuing local IP addresses over the Clear Access Layer 2. We have been in constant communication to get the issue resolved and it seems to be fully resolved now as we haven't received any more complaints from clients.
