they owned up to a the media and are investigating. No doubt an email - which has been indicated is in the works - will be issued once they've got a proper email composed.Whilst it is was very good that Afrihost owned up but why only on a public forum?
Afrihost is capable of sending its customers emails of promotions to all its customers so why not an email on this more important issue?

Call it a bounty, finders fee or whatever. In all cases someone pointing out something flawed has good intentions. I am sure that instead of opening a criminal case, Afrihost would have thanked the reporter of the issue instead of being ungrateful![]()
I am a full fan of the exposure for reward approach but the tendency is to tie it to the money saved by the entity or a % of the fine imposed. Look up Dodd-Frank financial reform law and you will see what I mean - it's a common practise to expose fraud and other irregularities and whistleblowers get awarded between 10-30%.
