I am with Afrihost for over 5 years but this performance I have never seen before and worst is they can't tell you when it will be sorted. I am tempted to move to Fixed Wireless in Cape Town CBD. With that I receive 60Mbps up and down for a slightly higher price.

Ye, i think Afrihost is on a downward spiral.... Think it's time to say bye bye.

I joined afrihost cause mweb was intoducing those softcaps. But with Afrihost it's not softcapped but with the constant slow speeds i might aswell be "throttled".

Youtube and streaming services has really been a shlepp since i joined them 7-8months ago and makes the experience very frustrating. They say they fix it.. and then it lasts a week or two weeks and everything is slow again.

Afrihost is up to ****e. Uncapped accounts are totally useless. No Gaming on them. On the capped account it feels as if I'm throttled lol. Its so slow.

They are busy with a network upgrade. Working in IT I can tell you that RARELY happens without some hiccups. I am sure Afriman will bring us in the loop.

Not the clients problem. Afrihost need to fix it and fix it asap.

I have cancelled my service with them. My experience, when MTN took them over, the problems started. Bye bye Afrihost.

I have an Afrihost small 8gb back-up and WA account for primary use. All I can say is that everything is crap at the moment Telkom Line congested, ISP's horrible and I have no other options.

I have never experienced it this bad in a long time in RSA. In the past it was always a fairly rock solid but slow connection now its a faster line speed on paper meanwhile its a worse experience. Lets hope somehow it gets fixed.
