Mobile data down, Fibre down (colleague uses them on Vuma), website down.. seems serious.

Completely dead this side as well, Mobile and all of our company ADSL lines, luckily there's failover at all branches.... Does seem real serious if their website is down. Not good.

Same here, 7 stores down.
Can't access their website or clientzone.
Mobile data not working.

Would it kill them to just do a quick tweet saying they're aware of the problem? I'm sure they are, but still...

Please send traceroute so they can prove it is an isolated incident that they are very sorry about.

You forgot that you first have to restart your router. Because you know, when their whole network is still down that's going to make some kind of difference.

I am on Afrihost fibre at present.
Functionality is erratic.
MyBroadband working fine, but various other sites / service not.
International seems to be down.
Afrihost website not functional, although traceroute to 169.1.1.221 completes successfully.

Disturbance in the force...

Down here in in CT at 25 of my clients...
Trump Must have banned Afrihost too

Seems to be DNS related possibly?

I get:

fnb.co.za
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

If I however do it against Googles DNS server, 8.8.8.8:

I get :

DNS server handling your query: 8.8.8.8
DNS server's address: 8.8.8.8#53

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: fnb.co.za
Address: 196.11.125.167

What are traceroutes/MTR's looking like? Does not seem to affect everyone

On adsl certain local sites timing out in Durban also can load their web site
