Afrihost& Vumatel Static IP

Can someone please assist / shed light on this. I just contacted Afrihost to ask for a static IP. I've had this so many times but now the support rep on Whatsapp told me that Vuma does not give static IP's. How is this the case if I had a static IP on a Vuma fibre line with Afrihost less that a year ago?

I had a Vuma / Afrihost line with static IP in an area, then I moved out temporarily and had Openserver with Afrihost line, now I moved back into original area just 1km down the road and all of a sudden I cant get a static IP anymore?

I need this for incoming connection as I work from home and do software dev.

Hi.

It is not a standard offering for Vumatel.
We use it as an alternative to move a client from a CGNAT IP, Vumatel controls the DHCP.
