Afrihost down??

I can't log into any of my afrihost capped accounts, anyone else experiencing this? End of the month heavy downloading methinks? :whistle:

Submitted a ticket, hopefully they are not still reading through that uncapped official Q&A thread...that's gona take a while!

Was having the same problem earlier - just give it some time - put in your details and restart and give it 5.
 
Can't authenticate. Did all the usual. Bounced router, etc. Tried desktop PPPoE. Connected via my Imaginet account now. Have logged a ticket. Let's see what they say...
 
I had problems earlier too but finally got in. Funny thing is that a while ago I switched to my uncpa-cough - sorry my 30GB then throttled and strangled connection but it kept using the pre-paid capped one for some reason...funny how they allowed me to exceed my bandwidth by 1GB before disconnecting me. Anyway I had cancelled the account and so I thought I'd top up the excess 1GB with their 2 for 1 special (and score a GIG that was hopefully not throttled/shaped) and it removed my cancellation. Doh!
 
Well it's been over an hour, so don't think they are keeping up with all the complaints\tickets\queries, so much for the 57 min lead time. Although I can appreciate they are probably busy.

Silly afrihost, they shouldnt of launched all the uncapped accounts before thorough testing...
 
DL are going at 5kb/s...
and i'm on the fence between them and mweb regarding uncapped..waiting for the 1st to choose.

mweb though gave me speeds of 430+ on torrents after hours...

never got those speeds with AH but i want to be loyal to them cos they gave me cheap bandwidth at a time when axxess and co were charging R70/GB.
 
Yeah down this side as well. It's an Uncapped account. Just logged a ticket through an Axxess account mow.

This is getting ....unfortunate.

No problems logging in to my uncapped account at the moment (384 line). Earlier tonight I was unable to log in. Speeds are normal.
