Afrihost down??

Hello

Can someone confirm if Afrihost is in fact down this morning? Can't log on to Afrihost from my two accounts. Trying to work out if there is a problem with my ADSL line or with Afrihost?

Logging on to client zone (via my back up iBurst) it shows my 5GB Capped account "Capped" this morning. Even though I can't log on and have 100% available :-)

Strangely, just spoke to my accounts manager there.

They are not aware of any problems with the accounts :D
 
Ok judging by the other posts that were posted while I was s-l-o-w-l-y typing my post Afrihost is down.

Was kinda hoping that Telkom was beavering away at the exchange upgrading me from 4meg to 10meg hence I couldn't connect, then woke up from that dream ;-)
 
My afrihost capped is working fine. Can't connect to Uncapped 384 though :(

Just checked ticket replies! Going on to day 2, no reply yet. Not cool.

O well, wonder witch techie screws up this morning with the server.
Keeps telling me my password and username is DENIED on both accounts.
 
Our radius servers seem to be dropping authentications randomly. Our guys are on it & I'll keep you posted. Sorry for the admin #Afrihost - GianVisser via Twitter

FFS Im so sick of Afrihost :mad:

Internet wasn't working and it gives me an "Your account is locked" message.
Log into the Client Zone and it shows my 1gb package as Capped although I have 100% left :mad:

After I topped up, it worked again

Same here, showed my 5GB Capped account as capped. Paid by credit card, then it worked, but was so intermittent, gave up. Back on my trusty ole iBurst PCMCIA modem.

This is only my 2nd month on Afrihost, I assumed they debited credit cards automatically, didn't realise every month I have to go and enter them again.

Will try Afrihost later, if still probs will move over to another ISP.

OK seems to working, albeit a little slowly. Will monitor throughout day.
 
I am still down from the time I got up at 6AM--I can't even use my prepaid or monthly capped account. Now using axxess to write this. well thanks for posting this I would have never known. I thought it iwas a April fool's joke or something.

I am on hold with afrihost support --12minutes and counting--caller number 18-17-16-14-12-12-11-... and waiting--I moved to 10
