Is Afrihost bandwidth ok for 50 computer Internet Cafe?

Is Afrihost R29/GB Bandwidth good enough for a 50 machine internet cafe.. or even 2 times 25 if divided between two connections.

If not then which is best?

You can use afrihost no problem. But 4mbit lines have to be shared by 20 pc's at the most. 50 concurrent pc using the internet is like pushing a potato through a straw.

It's will be a 4 mb line. How does Afrihost R29 compare with WA R49 Bandwidth

4mb uncapped... Does a true uncapped exist without the threshold. If so, what is the cost?

2400 + depending on specials or company.

Some have install fees, contracts etc

Any recommendations? I see OpenWeb has Vodacom uncapped for R2650.

@Jivan

The Openweb Vodacom solution is very good - i'm very happy with mine.

make sure you have a proxy in place that allows you to control what goes in and out

have a look at clarkconnect

I had an internet cafe running on a 512 connection and with 20 computers. 95% of the people read email, news etc. I never had speed problems even when all workstations was busy. I used cafezee to manage all the billling etc. Use a router with QOS.
