Afrihost Hosting + Cloudflare

Hi

I have a small Wordpress hosting package with Afrihost and would like to use Cloudflare with it. Cloudflare requires you update domain nameservers to theirs, but it seems like AH does not allow this on shared hosting.

It does seem you can do partial CNAMEs to point to cloudlfare but only if you have a business account with them (Cloudflare) This is for a small church website so as cheap as possible.

Does anyone have any ideas?

@AfriNatic this is probably not 100% your forte, but do you know if it's possible to change nameservers on your hosting packages?

That change needs to be made to your domain, ie you'll update the name servers associated with your domain to the name servers that CF have provided you.

Hi,

Yes you can change the nameservers. You can import the records from us into cloudflare. The only issue is that it will break the auto login feature from clientzone so you would need to manually login to cpanel.

You can change the name servers in CZ under hosting settings right on the top the first DNS records.
