Afrihost issues?

Is it just me or is Afrihost having line issues at the moment even on local sites???

Yeah my capped account is performing really poorly at the moment.

Half of the international sites I have tried during the week seem to time out, even live.com. Really getting tired of their (or IS) service. I am on a unshaped capped account so they have no excuses. THey might try and blame SEACOM but then why do they say its been 'fully restored' via other routes.

If they have the best service and won ISP of the year, then crisis I don't want to know how bad the other ISP's are.

I appear to be having issues with my WebAfrica account today. Not sure whats up....

Same issues on our side. Can't connect to certain sites via Afrihost ADSL.

Afrihost call centre have confirmed this morning that there is an issue. They are still investigating the cause.

The suggestion given to us is to switch the modem off for half an hour to refresh the IP address. This seemed to help with some websites, but now other ones are not accessible.

Afrihost is DEAD tonight - or at least the download speed is DEAD

On a 4Meg line :

Axxess has a notice up that there are problems with IS
