afrihost line question

i upgraded my line to 1meg a while back, was very sattisfied with the preformance.

Currently i am so busy with studies i hardly ever get to use this extra speed.

I decided to downgrade my line back to 384 kbps last month on 16 june.
2 days after selecting package change my speed dropped to 384 kbps.

Unfortunately i was still billed for july's 1meg line at the end of june.

When i inquired about this they apologised offering me credit for the mistake. They bumped my linespeed up to 1meg again..

What i requested and received was very different things.

How do i request a package change without having to do this dance all over again.

i submitted multiple emails but am going to try this once more, hopefully afriman's reading this could help the process along
 
Hi there

Sorry about the confusion, can understand it must be pretty frustrating. The process should be that your line would be downgraded at month end, and then you are billed the new (reduced) amount from the new month.

Please submit the downgrade in ClientZone, and also PM me your username and ADSL line number, and I'll make sure it goes as planned this time.
