I was third. How do I get my data?

I contacted all the winners directly - albeit a bit late due to access issues to Google Plus - so if you won, and pretty much everyone that posted on Google Plus did win, I'm probably waiting for your ClientZone access details. :)

Hey guys, so my Cell C contact ended today. I'm on prepaid for the time being.

How's AH Mobile? I'm just looking for a decent amount of data and a good price on a good network. I just need something for the last 6 months of campus. Will start work next year and I'll probably get a new phone/contact then.

I'm in Durban and the coverage map say it's all good for 2100 3G. I'm using a Galaxy S4 i9500, so don't need LTE even though I'm covered for it.

I was with MTN a few years ago and had decent performance in my area.

I'm interested in the 2GB month to month package @ R99

Cell C have 2GB any time + 3GB night time data @ R99. So they have better value and I've never had network issues in my area, which is rare I know. However, the website says it's minimum contract period of 12 months, which is longer than I want.

AH thus has the advantage as its month to month. I'll have to get more info from Cell C as to whether I can get a shorter contract.

I know AH had very good customer service and a great ADSL network pre MTN. AFAIK their ADSL problems won't affect the mobile network I want to use.

Maybe someone can comment on the network quality. I read the last few pages and saw the speed tests, which are above my needs really. I just browse the web most of the time. I have WiFi at home and at uni. I do stream from SuperSport and YouTube sometimes.

Can you guys also comment on customer service, billing, etc.

Hi, I've been helping a family member sign up for your Mobile 4 data bundle, in conjunction with Afrihost Plus+. Even though I specified that I wanted the benefits of Afrihost Plus+ to be linked to the Mobile 4 Data account, it didn't take effect. Now it says any changes I make will only take effect on 1 July 2015. He has yet to receive the Sim card, and the order is still in progress, which might be why Afrihost Plus+ didn't activate.

Please could you correct this, or advise me on how to do so.

Thanks for considering us, I think you're making a good choice :)
Just want to confirm a few doubts you have. If coverage is good, and LTE is available - use it! The more speed the better, I've become a bit of an LTE snob myself :p

I'm the first to admit that our DSL network isn't on form at the moment, and we're working really hard on fixing that. It doesn't have any affect on Mobile - they run of two very different infrastructures.
Because it's a month to month service, why not give it a shot and see the results first hand? Always the best way to test something IMHO.

So I had 1GB left on my cap yesterday and got capped anyway. I logged a ticket a 9am and got a response at 4pm. This isn't the first time this has happened. Seriously, how hard is it?

We've experienced a problem collecting your payment for your Afrihost Services from your bank. Please click here to make the payment via ClientZone to ensure that your services are not interrupted.

Getting tired of this and then being hit with an admin fee as well.

Payment went through last month and I have not changed details, so why did it fail this time?

Out of principle I will not pay the "admin fee" of R20. Force this on me and I cancel this account. Simple. (Ticket ID: WVY-238-92022)

I honestly almost exploded when I read that response. :)

I see the CC was declined, I can't view much more detail than that. Our Accounts team will follow this up with you though.

CC details are exactly the same as last month yet it is declined this month.

There are a variety of reasons the CC could have been declined, our Accounts team will check it out further for you though :)
