Have passed the message onto AfriGenie. He is busy looking into it with our Accounts team.
I settled the account last night as I needed to use my mobile data today while on the road. Do not take this as my acceptance of the "admin fee", which I still want reversed.

We're still following this up, which would void any suspension. We'll drop you a line as soon as there's feedback on the ticket.

hi @Afriguy

As you no doubt know from the Capped Feedback Thread, I am no fan of your ADSL offerings,

BUT

I am a fan of your Mobile products :) They work well for me, and I have no complaints at all. except for this small one, and I hope you can resolve it for me.

Can you please explain to me, for AH+ that costs an extra R99 a month right? Does that INCLUDE Simfy Africa access??? Or do I have to pay more on top of the R99??

Hey dude :)

Indeedly, Afrihost Plus is R99/ month - where you can allocate benefits to your Mobile/ DSL data. It includes Simfy access.

I activated the AH+ trial, which expires on 06th June. The problem I face is that since I activated the trial, I went and cancelled my SA account.

I now have no SA account, and for whatever reason I cannot activate AH+ and link the benefits to my Mobile 2 account. It only gives me Mobile 1 in the benefits screen.

Has it got something to do with the fact that I am on a trial?

Please can you assist

Shouldn't be. Did you have a subscription with Simfy themselves before signing up?
Drop me a PM and I can check the account out.

Yes, I've had a sub with SA for about 2 years. Which is why I cancelled, so I could enable the AH+ benefit.

PM incoming

Can't seem to get the map to show correctly, see how it just cuts off?
Tried in two different browsers but the same result.

Any ideas?

That's very odd. Only looks like an issue with the LTE layer though. I'm sure MTN will update this soon.
What suburb are you in there? I'm Wynberg side and get decent LTE.

Now my connectivity is pretty much non-existent. The only time it seems to work is when there's LTE coverage, and even then at poor speeds. Most of the time it's stuck on 3G and there's 0 connectivity, occasionally jumping to H+, where I get the odd burst of 2-3 kB/s...
