Yes, the Spanish version. Guess because SA is so slow in releasing firmware. Now that I have this extra 5gb I am going right now and updating firmware.

This could be the reason, maybe try the stock ROM and see how it goes.
Otherwise you can always install Cyanogenmod, my personal favourite

Messaged AfriMan and was wondering, how come I cant use my existing sim from Afrihost that's currently in my mifi and add this as a bolt on type package?
We can't share data from SIMs at this stage
It's a bit of a technical work around that we're looking at.That is the one feature I really wanted but lets hope you can figure it out.We can't share data from SIMs at this stage

Because the data is used via an already working SIM the data can only be used by MTN contract clients unfortunately

Which 5GB package are you referring to? I'll see if I can confirm from there.

The sim only one for I think it is R149.00. I decided that for a bit more I might aswell go for the 10gig one then ... now the 10gig one runs to December only and the 5gig one to Feb 2014. I thought that when the 10gig promo comes to a end I can change to the 5gig option in client zone .... but now guys are saying there might not be any "left" by that time? That sucks

It's not a definite it'll end then, we'll review it from there so we can't really be sure what'll happen
