Talking about that capped paste from afrihost like once or twice a week I will get it but mostly when I am busy in a game... But before I can report it it resets itself

The capped page is supposed to have a built-in system that checks your account and if you've been routed to the capped page incorrectly it automatically refreshes your account and you should see that change in 10-15 mins if all goes according to plan. It's just an extra fail safe that works in most cases by itself.

Mine is also dropping the connection often and telling me I am capped while I still have 10 gig available. Not cool. PM on the way.
 
Just checking up. anybody having connection problems . Like when you try to connect it will fail sometimes or you give it 10min then it works again?

Shouldn't be any general issues at the moment.
Is your entire connection dropping?
 
I got my new SIM card today. Pulled it out the envelope, stuck it in the iPad, powered up, changed all the APNs to "afrihost" and 30 seconds later it was working. Nice not to have to wait another day for the SIM to be activated.

its normally when I want to connect but then it will be stuck on connecting then it will show connection terminated, but its no train smash atm

Do you keep the APN on all the time? I do find sometimes it takes a little time to connect, but when I leave my SIM on all the time it's usually pretty solid.
 
I don't trust windows with my cap :D so its off till I want to use it
 
So While I can't really use my internet for anything useful this time of the day. Might as well do A silly test.

Note The speed test was still running it the background doing the upload test to show that I did not cheat.

So lets do a speedtest on EDGE

Think from now on I will use edge at night :)

That's very strange... Are you getting those sort of HSDPA speeds in other areas as well?
