My new MTN sim that I'm using on Afrihost had LTE by default??For our APN we will need to request LTE access for you. It's not enabled automatically.
Need some help, keep having issues on the Afrihost access point. See screenshot below. I have enough data, checked on clientzone.

Mildly irritated with the experience thusfar
Order service. Pay my prorata payment. Only sim option available is getting one from mtn shop. First shop didn't have and thats my day over. Next morning I drive 15min to the next mall. Get a sim and put into phone. Get phone number and put into clientzone. Now clientzone says waiting for number and the sim cant access the afrihost apn
2 days prorata down and no service yet. Logged a support call but that will only be sorted monday probably

We've found that in some cases new PrePaid sim cards do take a few hours to be registered on the MTN system.
Have you received an update yet?

Upgrading to an LTE AH sim next week so looking forward to seeing what the difference is.

No, not getting the issue this morning, however please can you still check it out. I will PM you my details.
Its really frustrating that this issues occurs in the first place. I had to get an Uber taxi on saturday night, my internet wasn't working and I had to revert to the normal MTN apn. I had to buy an MTN data bundle too because on Sunday, I still had the problem. Despite checking my balance, rebooting my phone a countless number of times.
I can definitely look into what happened!

Spoke to support,it's still pending on MTN ( 46hours now )
Just the whole process and needing to go get an MTN SIM and then getting stuck was a bit agitating,i'd hate to be a new home user and try to get this done,need more information and workflow steps I think to smooth out the kinks.
My MIFI I ordered and it was delivered and ready to rumble out of the box,but to get a voice SIM I have to try getting to a shop and RICA and then migrate the SIM over? Not very fun
