Sorry to hear that :(
Is this the experience in multiple areas?

For the last hour its been stable. I use it at home for work. I have a fixed router (B315s-936). I dont move around. My parents house is less than 100m away. They have the mifi device and it does not seem to be having the same issues. MTN does not like these Huawei routers, or the software on the tower was changed sometime early July, when the problems started... Bought this second router to eliminate the chance that it was my old router (B593).

Both the routers I own are stable when using a vodacom sim... So I have to assume the problem is MTN and its with regret I have to move on...

Sadly myself and another guy in the office will be leaving because of MTN. I logged a signal fault with them 5 days ago and still nothing. Sad that I now have to pay more, but at least I wont have signal issues like this anymore.

The type of modem shouldn't make much of a difference. I'd definitely recommend testing in another area to confirm if it's area specific or not. If is it, log a coverage fault and I can escalate it for you from there :)

Not great news :(
Coverage queries can take some time to be attended to depending on the workload in the area. Happy to escalate a ref# - shoot me a PM with the deets :)

I have logged a fault, and have been given a reference number from MTN. That was on 8th August.

Touch wood, since the problem this morning its been working fine since then.

I cant be bothered to drive around to check if I can connect. Right now its working. I cant predict when the problem will re-surface. Its far less frustrating to just put in a Vodacom sim and forget about internet problems.

Fully understand, just trying to get a better idea of what the root cause is :)
I'll gladly push an escalation through for the coverage query, PM me the details.

Our company have 6 Sims. I need the notifications to go to separate email addresses and numbers. How do I do that?

I'm on Afrihost this month as my Crystal Web data was hacked and depleted in 3 days. I have Afrihost+ active atm. Can the 500MB mobile data be added to my contract MTN sim?

Hi!

just got an SMS congratulating me on successfully moving to Virgin Mobile, I'm assuming its just spam?

I can only assume so, if you didn't action a port then a number port can't happen :)
Drop me a PM with your number and I can double check for you if you'd like.
