I trust you are well? Please help the negligent - I lost my Mobile data SIM this weekend. I'd like to get a replacement linked to the same account I have with you. How do I go about doing this?

May I purchase one Over-The-Counter and initiate a SIM swop as per MTN standard processes or how does it work?

Now I'm starting to feel neglected.

Lest not forget I've already contacted the call center and got an incoherent response..... *whooooo-saaaaaaaa*
 
I'm in the same boat.... Completely neglected. I cancelled my account. They don't seem to want to help. The email support is even worse.....
 
Quickest response should be from live chat or Facebook team. Twitter should be able to help tho.

I feel you. I haven't touched my quota yet and it's hurting my pocket to be using my phone as a Hotspot when I'm not at home!

We don't yet offer a SIM swop feature - so for now you'll need to cancel the SIM product and order a new product. Works out better anyway cos we don't charge for a new SIM (but we will charge for SIM swops when we implement that feature).

You will however need to RICA again :(

Coolio. What happens to my data considering I've paid for it and it's sitting completely unused?

I'm sorry to hear this. You can always PM me - I promise I answer each and every message I receive.

Please let me know what went wrong here so that, even if it's too late to fix, we can learn from this and do better :(
 
AfriMan sorted me out like a G!

Lost SIM contract was successfully cancelled and the data loaded onto my other SIM (used by my mom).

My options were this or a credit to my account as I had not touched my December quota.
