Afrihost mobile voice prices unveiled

so no real incentive to change from MTN prepaid which is 79c per minute to this. APN works on MTN prepaid so no need to change. You will be better off on MTN prepaid directly with much more value for money offers like MTN signature bundles and the MTN WoW on net call time promo....

We're opening up a beta launch today with pre-selected clients, won't be long before it's available for everyone though :)

Why can't they simply be reprovisioned for voice too? There's nothing that has to physically change with the sim card, it's simply has to be reprovisioned on your side. Or does MTN's systems not allow you to do this?
 
I don't see data top up options, are there for the month to month clients?

Devices are really tricky to work with, in terms of billing and payments.
Definitely a worthy look into though. Afrihost Mobile voice + Nexus 6p = noms!!

I'm sure if it was possible we'd do it, but the SIMs and APN options have already been setup on various systems for data only.
You can always grab a new SIM :)

FNB calculates the interest up front. I am just waiting for my two contracts to run out. Sadly, their offers are not worth it anymore.

It's always a bit painful with the monthly payments. If we get things figured out I'm sure it's something we can consider.
 
AfriGuy, will itemised billing be available for the month-to-month contracts, and will there be an extra fee for that as, for instance, MTN charge?

There will be data available via ClientZone, but I'm not 100% sure around itemised billing, or whether that data is stored.
I'll chat to the team and confirm for you though.
