Hi Afri(people)

I am correct in assuming that the recent competition with the 10Gb ADSL vouchers can only be redeemed on an ADSL line, and not on Afrihost Mobile?

Thanks for being awesome!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out I had won one of those vouchers.

Correct.
A guy recently won an ADSL voucher and AH said they cannot swap it out for mobile data.

Me too - 10GB ADSL- cool prize.
Gonna use ut when my line is upgraded as Afrihost haven't announced whether they will upgrade uncapped speed like Axxess yet.

I was wondering the same as I missed the MiFi promo this year & was wanting to try Afrihost Mobile.
Was hoping that the 10GB ADSL could be converted to a tiny portion of mobile data to try Afrihost mobile
I have however PM'd AfriGuy twice over the last 3 days - never to get a response.

Guess I will stick to Voda for mobile data then.

Someone else did ask and AH did say no :/
Afri<people> are insanely busy and having a 1 minute delay between replies does slow them down.

So you'd go to Vodacom rather than AH just because AfriGuy hasn't responded? You're crazy dude!

R145 a month for 5 gigs is an absolute bargain IMO.

no mr_norris, you got it wrong:

But it is a little more complicated.
The MTN signal in my area is not too great
& also
have to get a Afrihost sim card.

So i would have liked to have tried it out, & probably have stayed with Afri mobile if the speed / stability were ok as they already are my adsl isp.
