Heya guys

Very sorry about these random drops, seeing a small hiccup on our end.
We're addressing this.

How to test? traceroute?

Yeah, mostly which area. Joburg will be on the JHBIPC.

Reason I'm asking is that I'm not seeing anything down here in CPT :)

Code:
Tracing route to zertop.com [154.127.61.124]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

  1 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 10.0.0.1

I'm getting disconnects and when I have connection there is little to no throughput, this has happened on both AH and AG accounts.

Which IPC do you all connect on?

Z

Currently trying to connect from PTA ... not sure which IPC that is

We're addressing this.

We shouldn't be seeing these issues a day into the release and after all that POC crap

Using Google's DNS seems to solve the issue for now.

Google DNS kinda works but slow as hell for me

Niggles are to be expected, I think it's unrealistic to see a massive IPC migration go smooth sailing.
Overall though, this migration has gone extremely well.

We're in Cape Town and also experiencing DNS issues. Huge latency fluctuations to the DNS and sometimes complete timeouts for periods of time.

Issue should be fixed up.
Are you able to paste some tests here?

First time in like 6 months we have seen the green light on the AH page, can't blame us for being tired of these "niggles"

I can understand that, but if you weigh up the positives vs negatives on the new network there's hardly a comparison.
The intermittent connections also only lasted a few mins, and have already been addressed.

In CPT and seeing the same as you to youtube.com.
My average is currently 180ms.

UPDATE: Youtube Streaming is as it was yesterday. Fluctuates between 10mbps and 15mbps. Not as stable as I'm used to. Certainly not maxing the line, which is generally 17mbps.

Very nice. I have a 2MB line from Telkom, a 2MB AH Business DSL, and my leech is going at 325KB/sec. Looks like someone learned their sums at the same place as Jake Zoomer. :D
