can't play league atm. Just constant disconnects though perfect latency. Also skype call.

EDIT: all pings are dead, connection timed out. Playing off phone connection now.

If anyone needs a prepaid backup account, use the free Web Africa one. If you need something larger, I bought mine from cappedadsl.co.za. Best prices I've come across, and you receive the account details instantly.

R3.50 per gig with half of it midnight data? That's a bit on the expensive side. CrystalWeb is going for R3/gig anytime with a large midnight allocation.
I'd rather Afrihost just fix it up :(

We're talking prepaid once-off accounts bud.

Signing up for a month-to-month contract with the intention of immediately cancelling is both not nice and also not always possible at any given hour.

Anyone noticed that no Data is Being counted in ClientZone?

I have 11 DSL Accounts and 6 Mobile Data SIMs all showing 0 Usage since yesterday morning.

DSL Latency & Packet Loss Low Impact 16:46, 09 Apr 2016
Clients may experience packet and increased latency, affecting international sites/ services. Local sites should not be affected.
Our team are aware and urgently working on a fix.
Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Hi Guys, can someone please help me out quick. I have an uncapped bundle with Mweb atm, but it's rubbish, and i already signed up to a capped data only package with Afrihost and it works like a bomb. Anyway, i want to know the whole process of moving the line from Mweb to Afrihost, because i want to have a capped bundle with Afrihost so that they can manage my line and data. And most importantly, i don't want a day without internet, because i am an IT student, and don't have time for being offline. Thanks in advance.

Sorry but Telkom changed their policies so you will most likely experience downtime while your line is being transferred.

So when you request a line transfer, your line is moved to a holding pool before it is "snatched up" by the company you are transferring your line to.

Thanks i understand. Do you maybe know more or less how long it will take to move the line into the holding pool from the current isp (mweb), and then also how long it will take more or less for afrihost to snatch it from the holding pool?

If time is not on your side, move it back to Telkom and leave it there.
