Hi.
I need to know if someone can assist or give some advice as to how to get the following resolved.
We applied for an Openserve Fibre install through Afrihost. The install was done but the ONT seems to have a faulty LAN1 port and we're not getting comms on that port. Port syncs on 1gbps but no packet received on the port. Tested with different lan cables. Router logs shows ppp0 Timeout waiting for PADO packets. Laptops shows packets sent but 0 packets received.
Afrihost's call centre keeps getting us to test by resetting password, using Openserve guest account details, setting up a PPPoE connection from laptop and then logs a call with Openserve who closes the calls stating line is up. We have an Infrastructure call open since the 10/04 which has been escalated but nothing has happened yet.
Any help would be appreciated.
