Hi guys.

So getting a bit irritable with Openserve now. Had an installation about a month ago and took a week for them to activate our fibre box. We were given the free 50/25 30 day trial as part of their promotion. It was always our intention to switch over to Afrihost so spoke to the reps on here and they said as soon as the trial expires we can contact them and they’ll put in a migration order. Tuesday 01 April the trial expires and Afrinatic kindly puts in a fibre migration order instantly. Now the thing is they mentioned it’ll take up to 72 hours but we’re coming up on a week now and on openserves side it just shows order received. I know Afrihost can’t do much but I’m starting to think the migration order is stuck on openserves side. Is there anyone that I can contact at Openserve? Their chatbot does not work and I put in a ticket and I am yet to be called back. I know they don’t deal with the public in general but we can’t keep waiting.

OS is division of telkom. As you might know.

OS finish installation in our area even the router in connected to the line but the line is not active on their side even after tech called the head office for that.

So ya they really frustrate and have no explanation what so ever......

Damn.

Yeah it sucks because up till now we've probably spent what we'd usually pay for 1 month of fibre, for about 1 week or so of mobile data. Can't believe it's 2025 and FNO's/ISP's still have simple issues like this...

Hi.

The order has been validated for scheduling.

Hi.

I was not aware that the area is live now. Have you placed an order, or did you take the 30-day free trial from Openserve?

Hi, thank you very much.

I did get a sms with a new order number from openserve for new access. Does this mean that they need to physically replace the existing ONT?
