Im doing a fresh installation of 4Mbps uncapped dsl .

Who do i choose cystal web or afrihost.
There will be a lot of streaming on the line. So hopefully the isp does not shape the line speed .

Advice please.

What is telkoms uncapped usage policy like ?

+1 Crystal Web. I'm on a 150gb capped packaged. It is uncapped from 0h00 to 18h00 everyday. No buffering. Streams very well throughout the day. Note that I was till recently on a 12mb adsl line. Now on 20mb line.

How much data do you think you'd use a month ?

Not sure at all. It is the first time this family has adsl installed in their house.

There are four smart phones and two laptops that will utilise the wifi in the house if that might help.

I agree, Crystalweb. Installed adsl in my folks house as a present 2 years ago, been with crystalweb from the start NEVER had a problem. All they do is stream. 4mb line. On the 150gb capped package.

Crystalweb without a doubt. Was with Afrihost before, until I got fed up with their terrible service, and moved to CW, never looked back.

Seriously, I moved to Crystalweb during The Troubles of 2015 (when both Access and Afrihost sucked). After moving to Crystalweb I have only experienced great, stable connectivity. Their support is amazeballs.

Xtreme is all any home user will need. Totally unshaped and blazing fast. And uncapped every day until 6pm.
