Afrihost plus+ mobile data "benefit"

Hi Afripeople.

Can you please assist with a query I have with your service. For the Afrihost plus+ mobile data benefit it says I can order a dedicate SIM but I keep on getting an error in clientzone when I try. Your call centre now tells me that this can't be done. What's the story?

Hi Azteca. You can definitely opt in for a new SIM to be delivered and linked to your additional 500MB Mobile data benefit. To sign up for this, head over to ClientZone > Other Service > Afrihost Plus > Mobile Data > select "New SIM Card from the slider. Please note that a R149 RICA delivery fee will apply to this order.

Hi Afrifella.

That is not working for me, when I put in the delivery address it pops up with the message - "Oops! An error has accured". And you support staff tell me that I'm not supposed to have that option.

I just had a chat with our developers and that option should definitely still work. :) Please drop me a PM with your account username and the address you're specifying so that we can try recreate the problem.

Afrihost peeps, the afrihost+ free 30day trial, should I sign up in Feb or now before Feb starts?

If I sign up in Feb will my mobile data still be doubled in Feb?

Heya reactor_sa. Your free trial will run for 30 days from the day you signed up and then be charged pro rata from the day the trial expires. :)

Thanks, I got my SIM card today, will test it later today. Will the data already be allocated to this SIM? I don't see anything listed on clientzone.

Brilliant. :) A pro-rata allocation will happen from the point of activation. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks, I have activated it and waiting for progress. Will let you know how it works out.
 
Ok, I activated the benefit and it has not allocated any data. I did cancel the other card last month so no data should have been activated. Please check.
